Review of the service delivery model for student amenities

A large dual sector University

In early 2013, we reviewed a University's Student Amenities Association service delivery model to determine if the existing service and support model was the appropriate model for a changing tertiary education environment. Consideration was given to:

  • Governance model (particularly the appropriate level of accountability for the expenditure of funds to  deliver student services and amenities);
  • Cost efficiency and effectiveness of the current delivery of services; and
  • Quality of services.

In undertaking this work, we benchmarked operations and services against other student service organisations and identified and recommended several improvement opportunities for the future.
