The overarching objective of the project was to report on the supply of domestic and migrant labour to skilled occupations and examine the ability of the demand driven system to meet the skills needs of employers in the Australian labour market. This report presented evidence on the changing balance of skills from domestic and migrant sources in recent years and compared the labour market outcomes of persons who obtained their qualifications domestically with those of skilled migrants.
