Phillips Curran was established in late 1996 and has provided high-level consultancy services for all of Australia’s public universities, and for education peak bodies, Commonwealth and State government departments and agencies, education sector unions, and major private enterprises. David Phillips was the founder and Managing Director of Phillips Curran until the merger with KPA Consulting to form PhillipsKPA. Before establishing Phillips Curran, he was the head of the Higher Education Division in the Commonwealth Department of Employment, Education and Training. He was previously Senior Advisor and Consultant to two Commonwealth Ministers for Employment, Education and Training
KPA Consulting was formed in mid 2002 and comprised the former members of KPMG Consulting’s national education consulting practice. KPA’s Australian and international clients have extended across and beyond the education industry to commercial organisations and government.
